POE Webinar July 12th
29 JUN 2012
Dear ASIS Chapter XIII member,
Power over Ethernet (PoE) simplifies surveillance installations and operation by integrating data communication and power over a standard LAN infrastructure. IP cameras with PoE can connect to the existing LAN like other network device and there is no need to run separate power lines. Users are no longer limited by a camera's proximity to a power source and total cost of ownership is decreased due to less long-term maintenance requirements. Overall, PoE enables a high level of system flexibility, ease of integration and enhanced scalability.
In this complimentary LIVE webinar from GarrettCom, Microsemi and Security Products, learn how PoE technology plays a significant role in streamlining complex IP installations, and allows integration teams to build a robust surveillance network while maximizing video coverage for the end user.
